My math perspective has stayed the same and yet has also changed because I actually am doing 'okay' compared to what my grades were last year. I admit, my methods and concentration were different where I would understand things fast without second guessing, in high school im getting to where I feel like I'm like 'what? How? Why?' and it's difficult to be like that in class when everyone else around me screams out the answer without a second to spare. My first quarter project was about reall numbers. I still have trouble with understanding them and tryin to sort them out into group or in order. The revelations that came to me while doing this project was the fact it was pretty difficult to present it since I was nervous to say what I meant or felt. Other than that, I had trouble with even now, reading over my notes, I had to re- read over and over just to get an idea. I was pretty confused back then, I'm getting more of a good idea whats going on so thats good.
I agree with you in this blog. My math perspective changed too but its still the same,we still use numbers lol. Your not the only one who has trouble still, i still struggle in my math. Maybe your perspective changed because of Ms.Blair's math method which are cool. I enjoyed your blog ally.
ReplyDeleteYou are a very bright young lady allyLAHSx3 and it seems like your challenge is staying focused in class. Indeed, your classmates do scream out the answers well before you even get a chance to process the question. However, with hard work and determination, you can be one of those screaming out the answers. Don't give up!
